Dr Abhijit Pawar is a Senior Spine Surgeon at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital Mumbai(KDAH).
He specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic spine surgery and scoliosis surgery. He is the pioneer of 3d Navigation guided (O-Arm) spine and scoliosis surgery in India. He has done extensive research in field of spine surgery and published about 25 articles and book chapters in international spine journals.
Till date he has successfully performed about 3500 successful spine surgeries at KDAH. Dr Pawar is avid trekker and marathoner and has successfully scaled several peaks in India since last 5 years. He is an active member of rotary club of Mumbai. With the association of rotary club and KDAH they treat needy children with scoliosis at affordable costs.
